Green Point lies on the edge of the city centre and just behind the V&A Waterfront. It is currently the hub of Cape Town's after dark activities. A new development (The Cape Quarter) has completely revitalised the area, and brought the thronging crowds back into Green Point.

Green Point offers a variety of restaurants, delicatessens and coffee bars open during the day and lively pubs, clubs and cabaret restaurants which come alive at night.

Green Point is famous for its big Sunday market; a fleamarket with thousands of stalls, mainly African arts & crafts are being sold here. This is also the home for the new 2010 world cup Soccer Stadium.

With it close proximity to the V & A Waterfront, visitors will find plenty of activities and shops to choice from. As the V & A Waterfront has over 190 shops and offers live entertainment at the Amphitheater and Theatre at The Pavilion as well as the Aquarium and the Gate Way to Robben Island.

Green Point also has a range of accommodation for one to choose from.
