This beautiful part of the west coast is the perfect setting with white rocks and a cobalt sea. The bay was discovered by Vasco da Gama about 1647. People come here to relax in the peace and quiet of a tranquil country village with a burstling fishing harbor.
Along the shores you can catch crayfish, snoek , yellowtail, stumpnose, hake and galjoen. This beautiful bay is also home to whales and dolphins and a birdwatchers paradise.
St Helen Bay is one of only three natural bays on the mainland coastlines of the world where one can see views of both a sunrise and a sunset over the sea!
